Description: 1997 Ford F250 Super Duty Extra Cab 4X4 Turbo Diesel
RARE FIND - only 18K on engine and tranny! Although the truck shows 198K on the odometer it had a Dealers Diesel replacement engine (#440263) and new automatic transmission installed at 180K.
And this is not your grandfathers truck! It also has an aftermarket turbo and AFE Magnum Force intake system installed with a shift kit and B and M Shifter; it sounds like a jet engine revving up and it really gets on down the road!!
Other features include PW, PB, PS, AC, CD player, int. wipers, toolbox, locking hubs and custom exhaust (5 inch reducing to 4 inch). Interior is in good condition. The paint scheme is extremely rare and a real attention getter (in fact it may be the only black and white F250 in existence). The truck was originally white; so its an easy restore if you so desire, but I have to tell you, I get a lot of complements (or comments anyway) with the existing Black and White motif!
Mechanically the truck is in good shape, although while driving it today I noticed that it was pulling slightly to the left so it may be in need of a front end alignment. Tires have about 50% of the tread life left. If you need to tow a boat, a trailer, a house, or you name it, then you need this truck!!! Vroom, Vroom!
